It is important to understand how the properties of the water to be measured determine which water flow meters will work for your application. So even though magnetic flow meters can be compatible with water, they are only compatible with certain types of water. For example, magnetic flow meters cannot process water that doesn’t have a sufficient minimum conductivity. Each technology type varies in its ability to function correctly with different water properties.
